Wild Poppy is a fabulous boutique stocking Cambodian made fashion, jewelry and accessories, much of which is produced by disadvantaged local villagers as an activity of HUSK, an NGO operated by Australians Anthony and Fiona, who own boutique hotel Sojourn and Beyond Unique Escapes, Siem Reap's most responsible local tour company. A percentage of profits from hotel stays and tour fees also go to support HUSK and Fiona and Anthony work full-time as volunteer teachers at the NGO. Great buys include cotton frocks and linen shirts and trousers, handmade jewelry, handcrafted leather flip flops, and locally made toiletries, as well as cute cuddly toys called Softies, another HUSK project.
